Blemished Skin Remedies…

Blemished Skin Remedies

I’m sure you all have noticed that I tend to focus on anti aging and dryer skin conditions.  Honestly, I’ve focused on the issues I’m facing myself.  Truth be told, I have had my fair share of blemishes.  I had skin issues growing up and was even on antibiotics for years!  I’m still paying for that.  Since the birth of my first child, my blemishes were greatly reduced but being as dry as I am, I still wrestle with bumps and the occasional zit.  Today, I would like to shine a light on oily/blemished skin types.  Hopefully I can point you in the right direction on how to address this skin issue in a safe, natural way.

To wrap up-My biggest advice for you if you’re dealing with blemished skin is to examine what you are eating.  What is going on in your gut?  How are your hormones?  Skin issues are a sign that something isn’t right on the inside.  Yes, it helps to use the right products and keep your skin clean but it’s so much more about how you eat, gut health, hormones and stress levels!  I know that’s not very exciting advice.  I wish there was an easy fix but there’s usually not.  It is imperative that you get in touch with your body-find out what isn’t right.

Take heart-just because someone has nice skin doesn’t mean their insides are in check.  You have a warning sign that is signaling you to get healthy.  I feel thankful that I have IBS because it has caused me to take a good hard look at what I eat and my stress levels.  It’s actually the best thing that has ever happened to me because I am now in touch with my body.  I’m always learning how to listen to my body and constantly striving to make good decisions about what I eat and how I live.  The return on my good decisions is totally worth it!!

Your body is trying to tell you something.  It wants to be understood.  Get serious about getting good habits in place and think about keeping a body journal.  Listening to my body has not come natural.  I am naturally oblivious to my own body and had to learn to really pay attention.  I am still determining what foods effect me in a negative way and always staying in the mind space that my body is a temple and I must constantly make decisions that will nourish and strengthen it.

I hope this helps.  Comment below if you have questions or want to offer advice to anyone reading!  I am terrible and responding to emails-commenting on a post is BY FAR the best way to connect!

xx, Jenni
