My daughter has LONG, thick yet fine hair. After a shampoo or before school, combing out her hair always turns into an ordeal. I realized I had to do something since every time I comb her out, the comb is full of her hair! So, I started scanning the internet for a simple non toxic spray-in conditioner. Turns out, a DIY Hair Detangler couldn’t be easier. Some sites suggested to just dilute conditioner with distilled water and put in a spray bottle! I should’ve thought of that! I decided I would try my own recipe all though, diluted conditioner is super easy and very effective! This recipe took me maybe two minutes to put together and the results are great. So, enough chit chat-let’s make it! Your daughter’s hair or your hair will thank you!
DIY Hair Detangler
8 oz. distilled water
1 tsp. Aloe Vera Gel (find it HERE)
2 drops Glycerin (find it HERE)
5 drops Lavender Essential Oil (find it HERE)
5 drops Rosemary Essential Oil (find it HERE)
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle and use on wet hair. It’s that simple!
I used Rosemary essential oil because it’s great for hair and smells wonderful! It is great for hair growth and adds shine. Lavender essential oil smells amazing too and is good for dry hair.
