Brows…..  Oh how I love brows.  I can remember the first time I got my hands on a pair of tweezers.  The goal: Sherilyn Fenn and that incredibly high arch.

I was 15 when my love affair of brow shaping began.  So when one of my favorite makeup company comes out with a new, incredibly easy way to boost your brows, you better believe I’m all over it!

The Green Tea Fiber Brow Builder is basically brow mascara.  It’s a liquid that is applied with a tiny mascara brush.  The brush allows you to focus on the existing hairs however light or fine they may be.  This works well for my brows because my brows tend to be blonde, especially since I’ve been using a Vitamin C Serum (yes, vitamin C will bleach hair!).

What’s also exciting about this brow product is that it contains nourishing ingredients such as vitamin E and Pro Vitamin b5 that help to strengthen the brows and in my opinion conditioned lashes and brows grow much better.

I have included a dreadful before pic.  This is what my brows look like when it’s time to dye them.  They are shapeless and very light brown with stray blondes.  When applying the Brow Builder, I can create a look that is almost exactly like what my brows look like after a dye but without the dye on my skin.  With the Brow Builder, I can easily fill in holes as well. I can even fill in bald spots.  I’ve lost hair above my brows which gives my brows a more dramatic arch.  I’m able to fill this area in easily with the mascara wand.

How is this brow product different from Long Last Brows?

Long Last Brows gives a precise look.  You can create a polished, perfect brow.  The Brow Builder gives you an extremely natural look but natural doesn’t mean subtle in this case.  You don’t loose the look of hair.  With most brow products, including Long Last Brows, unless you are very light handed, you can easily lose the “My brows are just naturally thick and full when I wake up!” look.

I usually dye my brows every 3-4 weeks or else my makeup doesn’t look right.  It started to look very drawn on.  Now, if I end up not getting around to it, it’s OK with this product.  No matter how light my brows are, they still look natural with the Brow Builder.

Application:

1. Use wand and apply in upward strokes in the direction of hair growth.
2. Focus more attention on areas with less hair like the inner and outer corners and the arch.
3. Allow to dry.

Applying this product could not be easier.  I got the hang of it immediately.

My brows stay bold all day with this products.  It dries thoroughly and quickly and lasts even if I accidentally rub my brows.  I find it keeps my brows in place as well.  It could be used as a brow tamer.  It’s also easily removed with a makeup remover or my favorite, OIL!  It doesn’t make my brows stiff or course, however it does make them appear thicker then they really are all while making it look like it’s all my own hairs!

This product is perfect for the sunnier months ahead as well.  Brows tend to lighten up during the summer months.

Choosing the right color:

100% Pure sent me 2 colors.  One was soft brown and the other medium brown.  My mother is blonde with very light brows so I gave her the lighter one and I used the medium brown.  Both colors were perfect for us.  My color is very natural and even has a very light warmth to it.  Her color gave her brows a light brown look which did not look unnatural with her very blond hair.

I shot his blog post last week and today I still haven’t dyed my brows.  They are looking truly shapeless and light.  After applying the Brow Builder this morning, it struck me that my brows look like they do after a dye.  They are bushy, bold and arched!  Before, I would have never gotten away with waiting so long to dye my brows.  As we all probably know, dying hair isn’t natural.  Nor is it great for the hair.  This might just help me cut my chemical intake down by going longer in-between brow tints!

I highly recommend this product!  It’s definitely been a game changer!
