If you’re new here, you might not know that I run a skincare line along with the Jenni Raincloud blog. I started J. Raincloud Organics 9 years ago as a way to get my recipes into the hands of readers who didn’t want to DIY. Over the years I’ve narrowed down the most popular and most effective recipes on my blog and sell them in my Etsy shop. I whole heartedly believe that the skincare I choose to sell is truly the cream of the crop! In fact, if you’ve gotten to know me from my personal posts, you know I can’t be anything but transparent and honest. I definitely can’t put my name behind something I don’t 100% believe in.
My skin care line is a one woman show. From start to finish, it is all me. My products are made fresh, by my hands and in small batches. When you buy from a small business, believe it or not, quality control is at a much higher level.
When I started J. Raincloud Organics 9 years ago, I did not have lofty aspirations in mind. I wanted a place I could sale excess DIYs from my posts and needed to boost my income. Through out the years, I have added and taken away products, tweaked formulations and honed in on the products I know work.
As the “blog” world continues to change, it has become clear that my skin care line needs to be focused on more and more. Blogs are becoming less and less relevant and with algorithm changes from Google and Pinterest, there is a chance my blog could become obsolete at some point. However, I’ve thrown so much of my heart and creativity into J. Raincloud Organics and feel more excited then ever to focus more and more on my shop!
Thank you so much to all of you that order week after week. I will tell you that about 80% of my orders are from returning customers which makes me so happy. I know that I’m not the only one that relies and loves my products and that is the best feeling!

Each product in my shop has survived the test of time, reviews and quality. You can rest easy knowing that the products I offer are the products I use. In fact, I decided in 2020, I would no longer be doing skin care reviews on Jenni Raincloud unless they don’t compete with my own products. Honestly, while I do love discovering new clean beauty, my skin prefers my own products or DIYs so I can honestly say I think yours will too.
If you still have any hesitations buying from me, consider that skin care does not need to be complicated. In fact, I believe-the simpler, the better. I don’t put ingredients into my products I can’t pronounce. I don’t sell creams any more because of the amount of water they contain as well as their need for preservatives and emulsifiers. I also don’t claim to know how to fix acne prone skin because I don’t have acne prone skin to be able to experiment and find out what works.
I focus on what I know and can stand behind. I use the highest quality ingredients I can source and continue to research other sources. I use only glass containers apart from my salves and NEVER test on animals. Just little girls. LOL!
If you’re skin is normal to dry, I would love you to give me a try. Using time tested, organic oils has been a very different method of skincare than when I started my career over 20 years ago in the beauty industry but a much needed change my skin has greatly responded to.
Using oils to cleanse and moisturize has brought such balance to my skin. I can rest easy knowing I’m supporting my skin properly as I age.
