DIY Dry Skin Roll On

DIY Dry Skin Roll OnI had originally created this DIY to remedy the dry, aging skin on the back of my hands. I thought I would roll on my formulation and let it soak in while I worked on my computer. I will admit, it’s a great idea and it works really well. However, I did not realize that I would end up using this simple roll on literally everywhere. It has saved my skin from the painfully dry winter months, delivered much needed oils to my dry, cracked heels and even served as a fantastic face oil! Talk about a multipurpose DIY! I formulated the recipe using high quality oils so that this dry skin roll on could be used on the face without worry of pore clogging. I also wanted to use higher quality ingredients so anti aging benefits could be added to the benefits of making this recipe!

Sweet Almond Oil:

I chose sweet almond oil because it has a real knack for softening the skin. I’ve read that it is the closest carrier oil to a babies natural oils.

Vitamin E Oil:

Vitamin E is great for helping prolong the shelf life of the oils. It also is a powerful antioxidant.

Lavender Essential Oil:

I chose lavender oil because I simply love the smell! You could formulate any combination you like. Just keep your drops to around 10 per ounce.
