DIY anti cellulite oil

I don’t know about you but for me, cellulite is a problem!  I notice it mainly on the front and back of my legs making it really tricky to wear shorts!  The light has to be dim for me to venture into that world, I’m talking candle light!

Over the years, I’ve found that no matter what size or age someone is, cellulite can be an issue. Ridding your legs of cellulite starts with your lifestyle but a DIY cellulite oil can go a long way with reducing the appearance of cellulite!

I have been reading on essential oils and cellulite for a while now.  I’ve been gathering info. to come up with just the right concoction to hopefully reduce the appearance of cellulite while nourishing and detoxing.  I have found an awesome combination that smells amazing and goes on so smooth for the perfect cellulite body oil!

I have only been using this cellulite oil for a week but I am already seeing smoother skin.  I wanted to share it with you now because it’s such an easy recipe that you really don’t have much to lose by making it.

At the absolute least, you will see much improvement in the texture of your skin and increased moisture which we could all use! I’m hoping by daily use, we will see cellulite melt away!!

What is Cellulite?

First let’s start by talking about what the heck cellulite actually is.

Cellulite is fat under the surface of the skin that pushes up on the connective tissue giving your skin a lumpy appearance.  I believe toxin build up contributes to cellulite.  Cellulite is not limited to people that are overweight.  It happens to almost every woman and some men.  Cellulite is caused by a poor diet, dehydration, water retention, poor circulation and even genetics.

A few things you can do to help cellulite:

  • Drink LOTS of water.
  • Eat a clean diet-ditch the processed foods and sugar!
  • Massage your skin-this increases circulation and blood flow and encourages detox.
  • Dry Brush
  • Exercise for fat loss, more circulation and blood flow.
  • Moisturize-for a smoother appearance.
  • Take a collagen supplement.

I have combined several oils for maximum benefits and detox.  If you don’t have an oil you can omit it all though I would strongly suggest you eventually add it in when you get it.  Each of these oils are so incredibly beneficial to the skin and will help break down cellulite.

Rosemary essential oil is also really good but it smells AWFUL when mixed with the four I chose!
