Lily Lolo Makeup Review

Today, I’m sharing with you all my thoughts and experience in this Lily Lolo makeup review. I’ve been wanting to try out this makeup line for a while and now that I’ve worn it excluselivey for several weeks, I’m equipped to give you an honest review as well as suggestions on which colors and products work best!
Lily Lolo Makeup Review

Natural makeup can be tricky. High performance, long lasting products used to be very tricky to find when you also wanted a clean makeup line. I typically wear 100 Percent Pure or Hynt Beauty but now I’m very happy to say I’m adding a new line to my list!

I’ve been testing out Lily Lolo, a natural makeup line and have determined that I really like it. I have already talked quite a bit about their mascara but never tried anything else. I’m very satisfied with the products I bought and have used them long enough to write a thorough review of each product.

Lily Lolo is an English makeup company created by a woman. I’m always very happy to support women entrepreneurs! Every product is free from harsh chemicals, dyes and fillers and even has antibacterial properties to help improve the skin.

Just so you know, I was not gifted these products. I do not have a personal relationship with Lily Lolo. I bought them because I love their mascara. I do get a small commission if you buy something from this post but I am only sharing this line because I am very satisfied with it.

Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Palette First up I bought the Bare Eye Palette. It’s a palette with shimmery browns that are mostly neutral. I’ve experimented with each color and find they are perfectly pigmented and very easy to blend. There are 2 cream colored shadows that are excellent for highlighting and there’s even a gold shadow that is so pretty. I typically wear the browns and highlight the inner corner of my eye and brow bone with the first two colors.

My shadow routine: I apply the 3rd color all over my lids. Then I use either the 4th or 6th brown under and on top of my eye socket. I have a slight hooded eye and follow THIS tutorial. Next I apply the 6th color under my lower lashes. Then I apply either color 1 or 2 (not sure there’s a difference) in the inner corner of my eyes and below my brows. I also apply a bit above my upper lip. Sometimes I apply the 5th (gold) very slightly over the outer part of my eyes to warm things up.

Lily Lolo Big Lash Mascara-I am very familiar witht the original Lily Lolo mascara but there is a new mascara that for thicker, longer lashes. Since the first mascara does such an amazing job at giving really bold lashes I couldn’t imagine there could be a new formula that could do better. Big Lash however does give a slightly more bold lash. I think it’s mainly the difference in wands. You honestly can not go wrong with either Lily Lolo mascaras. Go HERE to read my review on the original mascara.

Sculpt and Glow Contour Duo-I’ve tried many contour palettes. The Sculpt and Glow palette is very user friendly. It gives just the right amount of color without being garish. I love using a highlighter on my cheek bones and nose and this one is subtle which is a good thing. Sometimes highlighters can look very unnatural. The bronzer has zero shimmer in it which is also good. It applies easily to the hollows of my cheeks and around the upper part of my forehead. This palette is so easy to use. I’m really glad I tried it and will repurchase it in the future.

Eyelid Primer-I’ve never used an eyelid primer but I tend to have oily eyelids which kept me from doing anything but using a translucent powder. However, I’m glad I got this primer. It’s got a creamy consistency yet it does not make my lids oily. It also corrects any discoloration on the lids. What I found this primer is best at is making the eye shadow look exceptionally vibrant. It really helps the shimmer in the Bare Eye Palette pop!

Lily Lolo Makeup Review

In conclusion, each Lily Lolo product I tried is easy to apply, looks natural and is long lasting. I’m happy to have many options when it comes to natural makeup and it’s nice to get my mascara, shadow and contour in one place. Next I’ll try their blush and I need a lip liner. I’ll keep you posted!

My mother has tried a lipstick from Lily Lolo and it was beautifully pigmented but was too soft. I’ll probably give the lipsticks another go but she wasn’t thrilled with the lipstick.
