This DIY has been a long time coming for my own personal use.  I experience irritation after shaving my legs and have been meaning to concoct something that would not only soothe but would also rehydrate.  This DIY Razor Bump Spray is really simple to make and can be used for multiple purposes.  It can be used anywhere on the body and men can use it after shaving as well.  It definitely takes that annoying sting out of just shaved skin!

Since it contains witch hazel and jojoba oil, I have also sprayed it on my face after cleansing when I’m in a hurry and need to hydrate fast!  I added geranium for it’s balancing and beautifying qualities so it’s perfect anywhere you see fit to use it!  Witch hazel will help to tighten and close the pores and glycerin helps protect the skin from moisture loss.  Lavender and Geranium essential oils are both antibacterial and will help cleanse broken skin.

DIY Razor Bump Spray

1/2 cup Witch Hazel (find it HERE)

2 tsp. Glycerin (find it HERE)

1/4  cup Aloe Vera (find it HERE)

2 TBSP. Jojoba Oil (find it HERE)

2 TBSP. Lavender Hydrosol (find it HERE)

10 drops Lavender Essential Oil (find it HERE)

8 drops Geranium Essential Oil (find it HERE)

Add all ingredients to an 8 oz. spray bottle.  Because we added jojoba oil, you’ll need to shake your spray before each use to incorporate the oil into the water based ingredients.  Also, feel free to add any type of hydrosol you have.  You could also mix up the oil if you don’t have jojoba.

The shelf life of this DIY is about 2-3 mos.

I’ve been using this DIY non-stop lately.  It smells so good and I love that I can soothe and hydrate my legs so quickly!  It soaks in fast and takes the sting out of shaving immediately!  As I mentioned, it is also man approved for a soothing after shave!
